Boas como iniciante em javascript tenho este pequeno pormenor que tento resolver mas não me estou a dar bem.

é o seguinte tenho numa pagina a seguinte apresentação

<ul class="noticias">
<li> ......1 <span class="lmais">ler mais</span></li>
<li> ......2 <span class="lmais">ler mais</span></li>
<li> ......3  <span class="lmais">ler mais</span></li>
<li> ......4 <span class="lmais">ler mais</span></li>
</u>

e pretendo atraves do jquery mostrar o ler mais apenas do li em causa, o que me está a acontecer é mostrar todos, tentei usar o .closest() tb nao consegui

var more = $('.lmais');
more.css({
 'display':'none',
 'position':'absolute',
 'right':'10px',
 'bottom':'6px',
 'font-size':'8px'
});

$('.noticias li').addClass('mnot')
.hover(function(){
	more.fadeIn(1000);
});

You can't do it, kid. But don't worry, my boy. You're not the only one. No one else can do it.
