Boas!

Tenho uma duvida! quando faço ls -la numa directoria aparece qualquer coisa como:

drwxrwxrwx+ 13 serafim users       0 Sep 18 17:34 .
drwxrwxrwx+  3 serafim users       0 Nov 13  2004 ..
-rw-------   1 serafim users     544 Mar 30  2006 .bash_history
-rwxr-xr-x   1 serafim users     561 Nov 13  2004 .bash_profile
-rwxr-xr-x   1 serafim users     653 Nov 13  2004 .bashrc

O que eu queria saber é o que nos indica o número que está ao lado direito das permissões??

The Long Format

If the -l option is given, the following information is displayed for

each file: file mode, number of links, owner name, group name, number of

bytes in the file, abbreviated month, day-of-month file was last modi-

fied, hour file last modified, minute file last modified, and the path-

     name.

é o número de ficheiros, pastas, links, etc. contidos em cada localização.
