O Opera passa a ser baseado no Webkit.

Norwegian browser developer Opera has announced that it is going to end the use of its own rendering engine, Presto. Over the course of 2013 the company will switch its browser products to use WebKit, the rendering engine used in Apple's Safari and Google's Chrome.

Se não os podes vencer...

Se por um lado vem uniformizar os browsers, algo que os developers e os designers agradecem, por outro vem tirar criatividade e alguma evolução que distinguia os browsers...

Vamos ver até quando isto vai durar e quando vai aparecer um novo browser a gabar-se de não ser baseado no WebKit...

Esperemos que mantenham no entanto o óptimo trabalho que tinham vindo a fazer com o Dragonfly e assim... Gostava mesmo da plataforma desenvolvida para o Opera.

Pode ser que melhorem o Web Inspector do webkit
