Pois é, já saíram os resultados da votação anual da Dj Magazine sobre qual o melhor Dj do ano.

Top 100 DJs 2005

Record number of votes received again!

A staggering 123,933 dance music fans voted in DJmag's 2005 Top 100 DJs poll.

That's 33,000 more than last year and a true indication that dance music is still a massive global phenomenon.

The truly global reach of DJ culture was once again highlighted with votes coming in from 147 different countries.

The USA provided the most votes in 2005, closely followed by the UK, and then Germany.

There are interviews with all 100 of the DJs that made it into the poll in DJmag's special collector's edition of the magazine. Out Now.

The Results

1 Paul van Dyk - PVD is the new No.1 DJ in the world, knocking Tiësto off the top spot. The German trancer has been in the Top 10 since 1998.

2 Tiësto - Depite losing his crown, Dutch trance superstar Tiësto remains one of the biggest spinners the world has ever seen.

3 Armin Van Buuren - Armin holds the No.3 spot for a third year, but with his own grand scale solo stadium gigs planned, watch this space.

4 Sasha - Non-mover Sasha has fully embraced the world of digital DJing in 2005, touring non-stop using Ableton Live.

5 Ferry Corsten - His brand of trance is an incredibly popular sound. Ferry is one of the biggest and best exponents of this style.

6 John Digweed - Former No.1 DJ John Digweed is up two spots this year, a sign that his recent cutting-edge sets are getting even more popular.

7 Hernan Catteneo - Despite dropping one place this year, Argentinian DJ Hernan Catteneo remains one of the major players in house music.

8 Deep Dish - Deep Dish climb two places this year. The release of their album 'George Is On' cemented the boys production credentials too.

9 ATB - German DJ ATB makes his first entry into the big Top 10. Seven artist albums under his belt, he's a huge star in his own country.

10 Carl Cox - Coxy is one of the world's most recognisable DJs. This year he moves up a place, proof that he still rocks it every time.

Paul Van Dyk merece o primeiro lugar a muito tempo e já o devia ter ganho quando lançou as musicas do euro 98 ou 2000 penso eu de que 😛

Tiesto é e continuará a ser o meu Dj favorito mas n gostei mt do ISOS4 mas contonuará aki <3 😛 hehe

Armin tem um trance espetacular e aposto k se ele continuar assim chegara a primeiro hehe 😛

sem ofensa para ninguem.. mas na minha opinião esses dj's são uns parôlos.. quer dizer.. trance é que é um coto parôlo.. desses de trance que voces falam tiesto ainda mete um som fixe as vezes.. agora atb e não sei que ai no top.. por amor de deus! é a vergonha total...

sim,é certo que foram milhares de pessoas a votar.. isso só quer dizer que isto tá a ficar como tava ha uns anos atrás.. mas respeito quem gosta desse tipo de musica, não são mais nem menos do que as outras pessoas 😛 :P

espero que ninguem fique ofendido,não é essa a intenção!
