Imagem cursor personalizada no Firefox

Boas, estou a tentar mudar a imagem do cursor, por uma imagem em formato gif ou cur. Ja experimentei de diversas maneiras, e ja me fartei de ver foruns a procura da solucao mas nao encontro nada, que me diga como fazer para o browser firefox. De momento uso o chrome e sem problemas...

Ha quem diga que o mozilla nao suporta o codigo url() para o cursor... Tb experimentei

cursor: url('imagem.gif'), auto

mas nada.

Mozilla, tentei tambem no internet explorer 6 e nao deu. So o chrome parece dar

No primeiro site o cursor personalizado funciona e eles apenas usam:

style="cursor: url('css3cursors_files/redarrow.cur'), default;"

Mas nao consigo aplicar no meu exemplo. Nao funcionam imagens locais nem imagens online

No outro site, o cursor personalizado nao funciona pqe eles se engaram no caminho da imagem xD
