FinPy is a set of python modules, for performing financial analysis, that has a high degree of MATLAB* compatibility .

FinPy can be used to perform

    * basic financial analysis (TVM, cash flows)

    * derivatives analysis

    * equity analysis

    * fixed-income analysis

    * fetch and use publicly available security data

datetools provides convinience functions for handling datetime, date and time and financial dates.
