[Dúvida] Resolução de ecrã

Boas.

Instalei o ubuntu feisty no meu portatil, e a versão mais recente do beryl.

Mas, não consigo ter resoluções superiores a 1024x768, mesmo tendo um ecra widescreen.

Como e que posso fazer isso?

1º link ele fala em instalar (que até já tinha lido em qualquer lado para as intel) o 915resolution .

De qualquer maneira penso que a resolução do problema deve passar pelo pacote 915resolution .

Well, agora instalei o ubuntu no meu desktop, mas não consigo obter uma resolução maior do que 1024x768, enquanto queria ter 1280x1024. Como posso fazer?

A minha gráfica é uma ATI Radeon 9600XT, e tou a usar o driver ati.

Fica aqui o meu xorg.conf:

BTW, alguem sabe como por aceleração 3D nesta placa com o driver radeon?

Também achei esquisito mas já vi casos em que foi necessário instalar o 915resolution para obter resoluções maiores em desktops.

Mete aqui o log do X ( /var/log/Xorg.0.log ) pode ser que diga alguma coisa.

Também pode ser do driver não suportar ou algo do género. Já experimentas-te os fglrx (ficas sem AIGLX) ?

No caso em que estou a falar a placa gráfica também não era integrada.

Problem solved.

Fiz sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg, activei o driver fglrx, e já tou a 1280x1024.

Mas agora que tenho a resolução bem, deparo-me com isto:

Quanto ao outro problema parece que não estavas a fazer load do módulo agpgart antes do módulo radeon?

karva, mostra o novo log do X para ver esse novo problema.
